Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

The short version: TikTok Favorites Remover runs locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, sell or share your TikTok data or personal information. There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Who we are

TikTok Favorites Remover is a browser extension developed by AIA (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at azmatkhan03491266@gmail.com.

What the extension does with your data

  • Your TikTok favorites. The extension works inside the TikTok tab where you are already signed in, using that session to remove videos you asked it to remove. Your list, your videos and your account details are processed on your device only. They are never sent to us or to any third party.
  • Your TikTok password. We never ask for it and we never see it.
  • Exports. If you export a record of removed videos (CSV, JSON or Excel), the file is created on your device and saved by your browser. We do not receive it.

Information stored on your device

The extension uses your browser’s storage to remember, on your own device: your settings (removal mode, speed, cooldown, keyword filter and export format), the state of a removal run so it can continue, and your free-trial and Pro license status. Some of this (license and trial status) may be synced between your own Chrome installs by Chrome’s built-in sync, through your own Google account. We do not have access to it.

Pro license checks

If you buy Pro, the license key you enter is verified with Gumroad, our payment and licensing provider, so that we can confirm it is valid. This check sends your license key to Gumroad. Gumroad processes payments and may collect your email and payment details under its own Privacy Policy. We do not receive your card details.

What we do not do

  • No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts in the extension or on this website.
  • No cookies on this website.
  • No selling, renting or sharing of personal data.
  • No remote code. The extension only runs code packaged inside it.

Permissions explained

  • Access to tiktok.com lets the extension show its controls and remove your own favorited videos there.
  • Access to api.gumroad.com is used only for Pro license verification.
  • Storage saves your settings and license state on your device.
  • Scripting and active tab let the extension run on the TikTok tab you are using.
  • Power keeps your computer awake only while a removal is running, so it does not stop halfway.
  • Alarms schedules the occasional Pro license re-check.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data through the extension, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or California, you can still contact us about your privacy rights at any time and we will respond. Removing the extension deletes the data it stores on your device.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
